Think about it: how much of your business’ expense is wasted. You hire highly skilled workers in key areas such as IT, ad writing, telemarketing --- but don’t use them full time. Why not hire them on an as-needed basis, paying for them as you use them? It’s what we are all about. Email us and we’ll tell you more.

Fantastic website. I can't wait to explore it in its entirety. Just had to write a word of praise before going further.

This is a great website! Like you, I was also inspired by Michael Pollan after reading, "In Defense of Food" and it started me down the path of getting my food locally and thinking about sustainability. I would also recommend reading Barbara Kingsolver's "Animal, Vegetable, Miracle" and "Eating Animals" by Jonathan Safran Foer. After reading, "Eating Animals," I researched pastured animal ranchers and know how the animals lived and died that I eat. I hope that with websites like yours, more people become aware of the need for sustainable practices and think about voting with their forks.

Thanks for the comment Annie! We try not to focus on diet books or cookbooks, which is why you won't find anything like Skinny Bitch on our site. (But I do have an equally difficult time resisting to buy cookbooks as I do books about sustainable agriculture--there's so much available right now.) Good luck with library school!
